Network
We are a non-profit organisation founded by a group of documentary enthusiasts, best known for our "Doc in a Day" 36-hour filmmaking competitions which have attracted over 500 participants, and helped facilitate the creation of over 120 short documentary films. London Documentary Network also organises other social meetings, screenings and events aimed at connecting, educating and supporting the documentary community in London.

Karoline Pelikan
Event Manager | Organiser
Karoline is a German-Peruvian documentary filmmaker. After founding her production company Pelikan Pictures, the travel enthusiast began producing short documentaries capturing compelling stories from all over the world. Currently, she works on her first feature documentary Dije No (I Said No) about the extent and nature of gender violence in Peru.
Karoline's personal concern is to get more women involved in the medium of film to address important social issues. Therefore, she is organising a film workshop series for young women from less advantaged backgrounds in Peru.
After having participated in Doc in A Day, Karoline found a new "home" in London where she could meet people who share the same passion for documentaries and beautiful storytelling - The LDN Community.

Joe Lee
Social Media Manager | Organiser
Joe is a documentary filmmaker enthusiast who took his first baby steps in filmmaking at the first Doc in a day. Since then, the filmmaking teams he has joined have gone on to winning the competition and he has won other filming competitions. He now helps out as a co-organiser to manage the social media and YouTube channel along with making short videos to help newcomers.
His guerrilla-style filmmaking has lead him to his own YouTube channel for further experiments (and fun!) on the subject of travel, music and stuff around London. This Way Up World.
